औराकी/माउंट कुक नेशनल पार्क (अंग्रेजी: Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park) न्यूजीलैंड के साउथ आइलैंड (दक्खिनी दीप) में मौजूद कस्बा ट्वीजे के लगे स्थित बाटे। औराकी/माउंट कुक, जवन की न्यूजीलैंड के सबसे ऊँच परबत हवे आ माउंट कुक विलेज एही पार्क के अंदर मौजूद बाड़ें। एह इलाका के सरकारी तौर पर अक्टूबर 1953 में राष्ट्रीय पार्क के रूप में अधिसूचित कइल गइल रहे आ एह में कुछ अइसन संरक्षण क्षेत्र (रिजर्व) बाड़ें जिनहन में से कुछ के स्थापना त 1887 में हो गइल रहे ताकि इलाका के महत्व वाली बनस्पति आ लैंडस्केप के बचावल जा सके।[1]

पार्क के रकबा 700 km2 से कुछ अधिके बाटे। एकरे 40% एरिया पर ग्लेशियर बाड़ें, जिनहन में औराकी/माउंट कुक के ढाल पर मौजूद तस्मान ग्लेशियर सभसे प्रमुख बा।[1]

न्यूजीलैंड में 3,000 मीटर से ढेर ऊँचाई वाली 20 गो चोटी बाड़ी जिनहन में खाली माउंट एस्पायरिंग के छोड़ दिहल जाय त बाकी सगरी एही पार्क के अंदर स्थित बाड़ी। इन्हन में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माउंट कुक 3753 मीटर ऊँच बाटे। अउरी बाकी सभ में माउंट तस्मान, माउंट हिक्स, माउंट सेफ्टन आ माउंट एली डि बौमन वगैरह बा। दक्खिनी आल्प्स के परबत सभ अपेक्षानुसार नया बाड़ें, इन्हन के उमिर दस मिलियन बरिस से कम बा आ अभिन ले निर्माण हो रहल बाटे। चोटी के ऊचाई बढ़े के गति लगभग 5–10 mm सालाना बाटे। ई अनुमान लगावल गइल बाटे की अबले लगभग 25 किमी के उठान हो चुकल बाटे, हालाँकि, कटाव से ई घटत रहे ला। [2]

पार्क के सीमा en:Westland Tai Poutini National Park से मेन बिभाजक (एगो प्राकृतिक सीमा) द्वारा बने ले आ एक साथ मिल के दुनों पार्क en:Te Wahipounamu South Westland बिस्व धरोहर स्थल के निर्माण करे लें, जवना के एकरे गजब के प्राकृतिक महत्व की खातिर जानल जाला।[1]

  • 1642 - Aoraki possibly sighted by Abel Tasman and crew members[3]
  • 1770 - Captain Cook named the Southern Alps
  • 1851 - Captain Stokes of the survey ship HMS Acheron gave the name Mt Cook to Aoraki
  • 1884 - First Hermitage built under the direction of Frank Huddleson
  • 1894 - First ascent of Aoraki/Mount Cook, on Christmas Day, by Jack Clarke, Tom Fyfe and George Graham
  • 1910 - Freda du Faur became the first woman to climb Aoraki/Mount Cook
  • 1911 - The vital swing bridge is built in the Hooker Valley
  • 1913 - First ascents of the footstool and Mt Sefton made by Freda du Faur's climbing party

  • 1991 - Avalanche of 10 million cubic metres of snow and rock causes 10 metres to be lost off the top of Aoraki/Mount Cook[4][5] Two decades of erosion of the ice cap exposed after this collapse reduced the height by another 30m to 3724 m, as revealed by new GPS data from a University of Otago climbing expedition in November 2013.[6][7]
  • 1998 - The Ngāi Tahu Claims Settlement Act officially recognises the original name, renaming the mountain Aoraki/Mt Cook[8]
