अमिताव कुमार (जनम 17 मार्च 1963) एगो भारतीय लेखक आ पत्रकार बाड़ें जे वस्सार कॉलेज में हेलेन डी. लॉकवुड चेयर पर अंग्रेजी के प्रोफेसर बाड़ें।
शुरुआती जिनगी[संपादन करीं]
कुमार के जनम भारत के बिहार राज्य के आरा शहर में 17 मार्च 1963 के भइल रहे। आरा से नगीचहीं बिहारे में पटना में इनके पालान भइल। उहाँ उ आपन सुरुआती साल सेंट माइकल हाई स्कूल में बितवलें। भारत में कुमार 1984 में हिंदू कॉलेज, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से राजनीति विज्ञान में स्नातक के डिग्री हासिल कइलें। उ दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय (1986) आ सिराक्यूज विश्वविद्यालय (1988) से भाषा विज्ञान आ साहित्य में दू गो मास्टर डिग्री लिहले बाड़ें। 1993 में मिनेसोटा विश्वविद्यालय के सांस्कृतिक अध्ययन आ तुलनात्मक साहित्य विभाग से डॉक्टरेट के डिग्री लिहलें। अब ऊ अपना परिवार के साथे न्यूयॉर्क के पाउकीपसी में रहेलें।
