टेम्पलेट:Rfd relisted

This template should always be substituted, i.e. use {{subst:Rfd relisted}}.

When relisting an RfD discussion:

Open the discussion section for editing
Copy the original discussion, including the section header
Open today's RfD log page for editing in a new browser tab
Paste the discussion at the top of the page, right below " Add new entries directly below this line."
Place {{subst:relist}} at the bottom of the discussion (see Template:Relist for usage specifics)
Note in the edit summary that you are relisting the discussion
Save today's RfD log page
Replace the original discussion with {{subst:rfd relisted|Name of discussion section heading}}
- Do not remove the section heading of the old discussion
- For discussions involving multiple redirects, non-visible anchors may also be kept
Note in the edit summary that you have relisted the discussion, and consider linking to the new log page
Save the original discussion section

In all cases where the page name is omitted, the page for the current date is assumed.
If the section heading is omitted, the template fails gracefully (i.e., the link simply points at the log page with no trailing '#').
