Purpose
[संपादन करीं]Generates a citation and link for a word defined in the online edition of the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language.
Usage
[संपादन करीं]As with all reference notes, the template should be inserted after any punctuation, such as a period or comma. Also note that "AHDict", which redirects to the template Cite American Heritage Dictionary, may be used in its place for efficiency.
There is only one parameter:
{{ AHDict | word }}
- word: Word that has been defined and thus needs a citation; a required parameter.
No support for page number is included as it is inappropriate for an online citation.

This produces:

and the following in the references list:
