मराठी सिनेमा अऊसन फिल्मन के कहल जाला जवन मराठी भासा मे होखेला। पहिलका मराठी फिलिम 18 मई 1912 मे बनल "श्री पुण्लिक" रहे जेकरा दादासाहेब तोडने बनवले रहन।[4]। मराठी भाषा के पहिलका बोलत फिलिम अयोध्येचा राजा रहे जवन 1932 में निकलल रहे।[5] भले हिंदी सिनेमा के सामने मराठी सिनेमा बेसी छोटहन लागेला बाकिर कर रहित होखला के चलते बड़़ी तेेेजी से आगे बढ़ऽता।
