When used with the "This is a redirect" (Redr) template:

Template {{This is a redirect}} may be used to add from one to seven rcat templates, along with their parameters and categories, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation page below.

When used by itself:

From outside mainspace: ई एक ठो अनुप्रेषण बाटे a page outside the main-article namespace (mainspace) से an article in mainspace. This redirect page must be outside of mainspace पर।
- Note: If this redirect is in mainspace, then it will populate श्रेणी:Pages with templates in the wrong namespace instead.
