I am Rahul Deshmukh Admin on Marathi wikipedia, recently in the Mumbai Wiki India Conference 2011 we have mutually decided to help Sanskrit wikipedia to grow. I have found the growth rate of the bhojpuri wikipedia is also moderate. Do you want any type of help from us. नमस्कार युकेश जी!, मुझे शायद आप जानते हों, मैं हिन्दी विकीपीडिया पर प्रबंधक हूं। मुझे भोजपुरी विकी के एक सदस्य नेपा बॉय से एक संदेश मिला था। उसमें यहां का मुखपृष्ठ भोजपुरी में बदलने व सुधार करने का अनुरोध था। मैंने भोजपुरी भाषा में अपनी असमर्थता तो प्रकट की, किन्तु हां यहां के मुखपृष्ठ को सुधारा है। हां तब मुझे पता नहीं था, कि आप भी यहां प्रबंधक हैं। कुछ ढूंढते हुए इतिहास में देखा कि आप भी यहां प्रबंधक हैं।

connectivity project

Hallo, my name is Anastasiya Lvova, I'm "duty" in Connectivity project. The essence of the "Connectivity" project is to study and enhance the coherence of Wikipedia, or, in other words, to improve hypertext navigation between articles. The project deals with deadends, isolated articles, non-categorized articles, transitivity of the category tree, etc.

We want to work with your language version, but we need configured MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage for it (with direct links to template namespace pages, for example, ru:MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage/de:MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage/fr:MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage). Is it possible to set it up for our usage?

Need a Technical Help

Hi,

I'm From Sinhala wikipedia. I want to know how it added the check box in Edit page related to translation. Means that "Click on check box (Tick present) to write in Devnagari; use Esc to switch". When you checked it, you can type in your language & when it not checked type in English. I think you got my issue.

As I've pinged by you about the uploading feature here:

1. FWIW, I can't find the Fair Use policy here, therefore you need to create the Fair Use policy in this language (as well in the Bhojpuri).
2. Also, I can't find Template:Information here, so this should also be created.
3. Make sure you have created the Non-free tag templates here (at least one, for example the Template:Non-free logo). (I believe you did).
4. By the way, do you need ContentTranslation here? with this Extension you can easy translate the Fair Use policy from enwiki. (OK already requested)

@Liuxinyu970226: Hi, I am working on this presently as earlier I was not aware of the tricks and trades here as an admin as I am new to such things. I have created MediaWiki:license page and imported some licence templates for using here from hindi and panjabi wiki (including above mentioned by you). I have just imported Template:Information too. Your advanced permissions (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) on bh.wikipedia

A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on this wiki. Since this wiki, to the best of our knowledge, does not have its own rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your advanced permissions, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. A community notice about this process has been also posted on the local Village Pump of this wiki. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at the m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights.

If you wish to resign your rights, please request removal of your rights on Meta.

If there is no response at all after one month, stewards will proceed to remove your administrator and/or bureaucrat rights.
